Westin San Francisco Airport: If you’re traveling by air and need to stay somewhere with your dog, this is about the most convenient and luxurious place you can stay. It’s only two minutes from the airport. Each of the 390 rooms is well appointed and has a very comfortable bed, known as the Heavenly Bed. So that dogs don’t feel left out, dogs who stay here get their own Heavenly Pet Bed. Pooches we’ve talked with say the beds are dreamy. For humans, there are Mutt Mitts (not exciting, but very handy) and better yet, there’s a fitness center and a yummy Mediterranean-style bistro. Rates are $129–379.
